Full previously served as President & CEO of the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce and President & CEO of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce
Minneapolis-St. Paul — The Minneapolis Regional Chamber announced today that Executive Vice President Shannon Full will be leaving the Chamber effective November 13 to serve as President & CEO of the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce.
Full has more than 20 years of experience as a Chamber of Commerce leader. Prior to serving as Executive Vice President of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber, Full was President & CEO of the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce in Wisconsin, the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce in Iowa, the Melbourne-Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce in Florida, and the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce.
Full was instrumental in the recent consolidation of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber and TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, bringing together the collective assets of two of Minnesota’s strongest business organizations. The combined Chamber has nearly 2,300 members spanning the 11-county metro region.
“We are excited for Shannon to take on this new challenge, but we will miss having her extraordinary talents on our team,” said Minneapolis Regional President & CEO Jonathan Weinhagen. “Shannon is one of the top economic development and advocacy leaders in the country. Her leadership was critical as our boards worked together over the past several months to bring the TwinWest and Minneapolis Regional Chambers together. Her work will continue to benefit our region for years and we look forward to partnering with her on regional and statewide efforts.”
“I’m excited about this opportunity to work with business leaders in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo,” said Shannon Full. “Leading a strong Chamber with a footprint in both North Dakota and Minnesota will be an exciting adventure. I appreciate the support and encouragement of TwinWest and Minneapolis Regional Chamber members – working with you over these past nearly four years has been a highlight of my career and I look forward to staying connected with all of you.”
